Myanmar's nominal president, Myint Swe, is on medical leave and all his duties have been transferred to junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, state television MRTV announced on Monday.
Myint Swe, 73, a former army officer who became head of state during a 2021 coup, is suffering from serious illnesses, according to state media.
