EU to delay 2040 climate target proposal beyond Q1 -Commission

The EU's 2040 climate target proposal will be delayed beyond Q1 of 2024, a European Commission spokesperson said on Friday.

"Q1 indeed ends next week ... so we can confidently say that it will not be adopted in Q1", the spokesperson told reporters.
