Indian hospital operator Manipal Health Enterprises (MNIA.NS) on Thursday reported a nearly 31% rise in adjusted first-quarter profit after tax, driven by strong demand for complex procedures and higher hospital occupancy.
The company posted an adjusted consolidated profit after tax of 3.32 billion rupees ($34.69 million) for the quarter ended June 30, up from 2.54 billion rupees a year earlier.
