A Chinese court on Friday sentenced Cai Esheng, former vice chairman of China's banking regulator, to death with a two-year reprieve for accepting bribes and abuse of power, state television CCTV reported.
The sentence will be commuted to life imprisonment at the end of the two years, CCTV reported.
