Chinese electric vehicle battery maker CATL (300750.SZ) on Tuesday said it will partner Changan Mazda to develop new energy vehicles based on its "skateboard" chassis.
CATL said its chassis "will help both parties greatly shorten the vehicle development cycle and jointly respond flexibly to changes in market demand".
Changan Mazda is a venture between China Changan Automobile Group (SASAGG.UL) and Japanese automaker Mazda Motor (7261.T).
