Ukraine's coking coal mine in Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine - key for its steel industry - has stopped production because of the proximity of advancing Russian forces, two Ukrainian industry sources told Reuters on Monday.
"They have all stopped working now," one source said.
Pokrovsk is the only mine in Ukraine that produces coking coal and Ukrainian military analyst DeepState said Russian troops were less than 2 km (1.24 miles) from the facility.
