Volkswagen calls on Germany to vote against EU tariffs on Chinese cars

Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE) on Wednesday urged Germany to vote against the introduction of European Union tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, arguing that the tariffs do not improve the competitiveness of the auto industry.

"The proposed tariffs are the wrong approach," a spokesperson said in a statement.
