French jet engine maker Safran (SAF.PA) is said to be studying a potential acquisition of sea-drone maker Exail Technologies (EXA.PA), Bloomberg News reported on Friday.
Trading in Exail shares was halted briefly after a near 9% jump following the report, before resuming.
Exail and Safran did not immediately respond to a Reuters' request for comment.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
