British engineering company Rolls-Royce (RR.L) raised its full-year outlook on Thursday after it posted a 46% jump in operating profit in the first six months on a better performance in the civil aircraft after-market and increased demand in defence.
It said it now expected to make £4.7 billion to £4.9 billion in underlying operating profit, up from a previous £4.0 billion to £4.2 billion.
