GE Aerospace (GE.N) CEO Larry Culp said the company is working to ramp up production to keep up with demand for LEAP engines, which power Airbus (AIR.PA) and Boeing (BA.N) narrowbody aircraft.

The comments came after the company forecast a double-digit decline in LEAP jet engine deliveries this year due to supply constraints.

"We have very strong demand across the industry," Culp told Reuters. "Both the airlines as they utilize existing fleets, (and) the air framers as they work to help the airlines expand those same fleets are pulling on us and others for more."
